JOB DESCRIPTION
Breakfast Club of Canada is looking for a Financial Analyst reporting to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. The selected candidate will play a key role within the Finance team, contributing to development of the budgets, forecasts, variance analyses as well as in various continuous process improvements.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the development of budgets and forecasts.
- Develop and provide operational support in the analysis of key performance indicators, dashboards, reports, variance and trend analyses.
- Process and validate disbursements based on agreements and commitments.
- Create and generate various reports and analyses such as power BI reports. Validate the level of detail to be provided and ensure consistency with other demands across the organization.
- Assist the Finance team in all data-related tasks: data uploads, updates, analyses, verification, validation, and data cleansing.
- Develop and execute data integrity verification tools. Identify issues and propose solutions to enhance data quality.
- Assist in various continuous process improvements projects.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA designation, an asset.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Office suite applications, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Knowledge of CRM softwares and ERP systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dynamics 365 Business Central, an asset.
- Essential bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written (English is required for meetings several times a month with colleagues and partners across Canada).
