JOB DESCRIPTION
Breakfast Club of Canada is looking for an IT Platforms Administrator. Reporting to the IT Director, the selected candidate will be responsible for administering, providing support for and optimizing Microsoft 365, Azure and Microsoft Endpoint Manager environments as well as other cloud and on-premise infrastructure. The position supervises one IT Technician with the end goal of delivering high-quality service to employees across the country.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer, provide support for and oversee the maintenance of Microsoft 365, Azure and Microsoft Endpoint Manager platforms.
- Manage and optimize Windows Server environments and associated services.
- Manage and ensure the security of access to various platforms.
- Oversee hardware configuration and support.
- Train, guide and support the IT Technician in order to help them achieve service quality targets set by management.
- Provide technical support to users and resolve IT platform–related incidents.
- Implement and manage security and compliance strategies.
- Administer and optimize SharePoint Online in line with users’ needs.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of IT infrastructure.
- Monitor technological developments in the industry and use this information to suggest improvements to in-house systems on an ongoing basis.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree or college diploma in information technology.
- Experience in IT infrastructure management and proficiency in cloud and network technologies.
- Significant experience in administering Microsoft 365, Azure and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) environments.
- Experience as a SharePoint Online administrator.
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), an asset.
- Knowledge of networking and management of Windows Server environments.
- Knowledge of PowerShell.
- Proficiency in APIs, web services, ETL and SaaS systems integration.
- Ability to manage IT compliance security and strategies.
- Fluency in written and spoken French and English (English is required for meetings several times a month with colleagues and partners across Canada).
